The way of the Eight Mills

Hiking excursion along the Via Amerina

Association Matavitatau is offering an excursion along the Via Amerina, providing participants the opportunity of discovering its character, as well as of admiring the historical mills found along the banks of the Arnata River.
The hike will be about eight kilometers (5 miles), on mostly level ground. The destination will be the mill known as the Molino degli Olivieri, which still retains the structure and historical elements, including the De Oliveris family’s crest above the door. Descendants of the De Oliveris family still inhabit the mill today.
